The Moravian Lounge was located at the corner of Utica and Moravian roads.
The spot was a well-known landmark, especially for people in the East Detroit/Clinton Twp area. Danny Zella booked us into the Moravian and it was a good place to play. The crowd liked to dance and there was a large wooden dance floor. In 1975 it was surrounded by cornfields. |

The Moravian Lounge eventually closed and remodeled as Fazzalari's Italian restaurant. |

The Kourelis family bought the property and tore down most of the old building and built the Great Baraboo Brewing Co. in 1995. www.greatbaraboo.com
